It's easy to locate participating dentists and specialists in your area. You can search on our website by going to Find a dentist, you can download our mobile app (Benefit Tools) or you can call 800.442.7742. Please check your ID card for the dental plan you participate in prior to doing your search
Once you have selected a participating dentist call the dental office and make an appointment. When scheduling an appointment, always share your PPO network with the dentist. When you go to the dentist, remember to take your Dental ID card to verify eligibility. We recommend that you confirm prior to any treatment that the dentist continues to participate in our networks.
You always have the freedom to choose any dentist for your dental treatment. Remember, seeing an in-network dentist may save you money. Seeing an out-of-network dentist will, in many cases, cost you more because you will not have access to our network discounts.
Even if you do not receive general dentistry care from an in-network dentist you are welcome to use an in-network specialist. In most areas you will have a wide selection of in-network specialists from which to choose. If your dentist doesn't participate in one of our networks, they will not appear in the search results. Your dentist may have only recently joined our networks and may not have been added to the directory yet or may have recently left our networks. Check with your dentist to confirm current participation.
