Assurant Employee Benefits Recognized as Model Carrier for AssurAbility Online Claims Management System
Assurant Employee Benefits has been selected as a 2009 Model Carrier for the establishment of an online claims management system that enables the company to better serve its disability insurance claimants.
Celent, a research firm that advises financial institutions on best practices in technology, honored a total of 19 companies throughout the world across several categories, including product definition, distribution, underwriting, policy administration, service, billing, claims and reinsurance. Winners of the awards answer the question "What does it take to use technology effectively?"
AssurAbility, the online disability claims case management system successfully implemented by Assurant Employee Benefits, earned the business recognition for best practices in online claims management. The tool has enabled Assurant Employee Benefits to significantly enhance disability case management since its launch.
