Assurant Employee Benefits Names Todd Rever as Vice President, Information Technology

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 21, 2008) – Assurant Employee Benefits, a leading provider of ancillary group employee benefits based in Kansas City, Mo., announces the promotion of Todd Rever as vice president of Information Technology, effective immediately.

Rever will continue to report to Karla Schacht, senior vice president, chief information officer and chief service officer for Assurant Employee Benefits. He will lead the Professional Services Office with governance and oversight of the portfolio of programs and projects across the company, ensuring the demands of project scope, time, cost, risk and quality are balanced.

Rever joined Assurant Employee Benefits in 2005 as Second Vice President, Professional Services Office. Prior to joining Assurant Employee Benefits, Rever served as Assistant Vice President - Strategic Planning at Jefferson Pilot in Greensboro, NC. He is a native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and graduated from University of Champlain in Lennoxville, Quebec, with a degree in Engineering.
