Amy Brown fuels growth for organization
New York, NY. — (May 20, 2008) — Assurant Employee Benefits has announced its President's Award winner, local Senior Account Executive Amy Brown. The President's Award acknowledges a member of the sales organization who generates the most premium for the company from groups under 500 lives and consistently demonstrates professionalism and contribution to the company. It is the single-most prestigious award presented by the company each year.
"Amy's hard work and dedication to both her brokers and Assurant Employee Benefits is in a class of its own," asserts Peter Cook, vice president of sales. "She never forgets that her success is the result of these partnerships and is always on the lookout for opportunities to write profitable business and show appreciation for everyone's help in getting there."
Brown also captured a Senior Vice President's Award for selling the largest number of true group coverages in groups of less than 500 lives. And, for submitting 150 or more total coverages in groups of less than 500 lives, Brown was also recognized as a Sales Leader. She received her awards in front of her peers at the company's President's Conference in Sarasota, Fla., last month.
In 2007, Brown was the company's highest producer of true group life insurance and among the top five sellers of true group dental and true group long-term disability.
Brown has been with the company for nearly 10 years. This is the second time she has won the company's top prize.
The award-recipient is a graduate of the University of Rochester. Brown resides in the Upper West Side of New York City.
Assurant Employee Benefits specializes in providing smaller businesses with a full range of dental, life, and disability insurance. National carriers typically focus on large employer groups.
