Houston Sales Representative Wins National Sales Award

Eurie Dye fuels growth for organization

Houston, Texas — (May 20, 2008) — Assurant Employee Benefits has announced its Rookie of the Year award winner, local sales representative Eurie Dye.

The Rookie of the Year award acknowledges the top-qualifying individual who submits the most new business premium. To qualify, rookies must be in their first full calendar year selling with the company and have less than two years' experience in insurance sales through intermediaries as of Jan. 2, 2007. An individual can only win this award once.

"For the past year, Eurie was determined to learn all he could and use all the tools available to assist him in writing profitable business," asserts Sales Manager John Patton. "His competitive nature helped him tackle his learning curve and he quickly earned the trust of his brokers and the respect of his peers."

Dye joined the company in 2005. His territory is the Houston metropolitan area.

The award-recipient resides in Humble, Texas, with his wife, Stephanie, and three children. Dye holds bachelors' degrees in history and industrial distribution from the University of Houston.
