Assurant Employee Benefits Names Brad Peak as Second Vice President of Products and Markets
KANSAS CITY, Mo.—(February 1, 2008) Assurant Employee Benefits, a leading provider of ancillary group employee benefits based in Kansas City, Mo., announces the appointment of Brad Peak as second vice president of products and markets, effective Jan. 1, 2008.
In his new position, Peak will report to Joe Sevcik, vice president of marketing for Assurant Employee Benefits. He will lead marketing planning, product development, and customer/market segment program development for life, disability, and dental insurance lines.

Peak is a native of Olney, Ill. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in advertising and is a 2009 UMKC Block School Executive MBA candidate. Prior to joining Assurant Employee Benefits, Peak served as director of client experience at H&R Block in Kansas City, Mo.

Peak currently resides in Parkville, Mo., with his wife and three sons.
