North Carolina Sales Representative Wins National Sales Awards
Pete Stam fuels growth for organization
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — (May 21, 2007) — Assurant Employee Benefits has announced its Senior Vice President's Award winner, local senior account executive Pete Stam.
The Senior Vice President's Award acknowledges a member of the sales organization who submits the most voluntary new business premium. Voluntary products are sold to employees via payroll deduction.
Stam also was named a Sales Leader, defined as an individual who achieves 125% or more of his or her annual sales goal. Stam achieved 176% of his goal in 2006.
“Pete is being honored for his solution-oriented approach to clients in Raleigh-Durham and Chapel Hill,” said Peter Cook, Assurant Employee Benefits' vice president of sales. “He cares about people and goes above and beyond to help businesses offer greater benefits to area employees.”
Stam has been with the company for nine-and-a-half years, and his territory is the Raleigh-Durham and Chapel Hill metro areas.
The award-recipient resides in Wake Forest, N.C., and is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va., with a bachelor's degree in English. He not only leads the way professionally, but he helps lead his daughter on community service projects in their area as a YMCA “Y-Guide and Indian Princess” member, where dads and daughters partake in community service events around their community.
