Ted Madge to Lead San Francisco Sales Office for Assurant Employee Benefits
New sales manager brings 10 years of experience to Northern California territory
San Francisco – Assurant Employee Benefits has named Ted Madge as the new sales manager for its San Francisco Group Sales Office.
Madge joined Assurant Employee Benefits in March 2004 from Phoenix Home Life/GE Financial, where he was a senior sales representative for ten years. As sales manager for Assurant Employee Benefits, he will cover the Northern California territory.
Madge is looking forward to building and growing a highly productive and successful sales team in San Francisco.
“My focus will be on continuing to provide excellent service to our brokers and employers through superior product knowledge and innovative products,” Madge said.
Madge said a renewed emphasis on voluntary products will be a key initiative. “Voluntary benefits play a vital role in crafting customized benefits packages for smaller employers,” Madge said.
Madge graduated from California Polytechnic Institute in San Luis Obispo, Calif. He and his wife, Kory (cq), make their home in Danville, Calif. Madge enjoys snow and water skiing, being outdoors, swimming and working out.
