National Award Earned by San Francisco Senior Sales Executive
Shannon Norton honored for achievement by Assurant Employee Benefits
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Assurant Employee Benefits has honored Senior Sales Executive Shannon Norton with the True Group Sales Leader Award for outstanding sales performance in 2004. The awards recognize sales success achieved through the winners' commitment by providing creative employee benefits solutions to meet the unique needs of employers and brokers.
The award recognizes the fourth banner year for sales success in a row for Norton of the San Francisco Group Sales Office. Norton has won this award for the last three years, and the year before last, she also won the President's Award, the top level of recognition. Four years ago, she earned the Rookie of the Year Award, presented annually to the top performer among sales representatives with less than three years of experience.
“Shannon's success demonstrates her capability to utilize a partnership approach to serving companies and their employees,” said Chris Calos, senior vice president for distribution. “She forges real partnerships with brokers and employers and develops knowledge and expertise not just in employee benefits products and services, but in her customers' businesses.”
Norton earned the True Group Sales Leader Award for submitting more than $3.9 million in true group sales. True Group Sales Leader Awards are presented to sales representatives who achieved $3 million in sales or 150 percent of their sales goal. True Group products are sold to companies that provide them to employees as part of a compensation package.
Norton currently lives in San Francisco. She will transfer to the Charlotte, N.C. Group Sales Office in March.
