John Patton to Lead Houston Sales Office of Assurant Employee Benefits
New sales manager brings years of sales experience in the Houston area
HOUSTON – Assurant Employee Benefits has named John Patton sales manager for its Houston Group Sales Office.
Patton brings to Assurant Employee Benefits six years of sales experience in the Houston area. He also owned his own business for one-and-a-half years.
Patton's territories will include Houston and the Gulf Coast in Texas , and Louisiana .
“John's commitment to and knowledge of the industry, his ability to forge relationships with brokers, and his capacity to lead make him the logical choice to head the Houston office,” said Greg Dowling, regional vice president of sales.
“I'm really excited about the direction in which we're headed,” Patton said. “We've got a committed team here in Houston and we're working with a great broker community. Our goal is to be among the top three offices in the company, and we're on the right track to making that happen.”
Patton graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University .
He and his wife, Julie, currently reside in Houston with their seven-month-old daughter, Sidney. In his spare time, Patton enjoys water skiing and spending time with his family.
