Brian Dawood to Lead Minneapolis Sales Office of Assurant Employee Benefits
New sales manager brings 14 years of experience to the Minneapolis area
Minneapolis – Assurant Employee Benefits has named Brian Dawood sales manager for its Minneapolis Group Sales Office.
Dawood brought many years of sales experience to Assurant Employee Benefits when he started with the company as a senior sales representative in the Minneapolis sales office in 2000. As sales manager for that office, his territories in the Minneapolis region will include North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Northern and Western Wisconsin.
Dawood said he is very excited about the opportunity to lead the Minneapolis sales office and looks forward to the challenges.
“Over four decades, our office has had a solid reputation and strong winning tradition, and this will continue,” Dawood said. “This is a talented office and my main focus will be to help coach, mentor and further develop sales reps and staff.”
Dawood also wants to continue to strengthen current broker partnerships and create and find new business opportunities for the sales reps.
Dawood has been a consistent sales leader, frequently qualifying for the President's Conference recognition. He won the President's Award for sales representatives in 2001 and has consistently contributed to Minneapolis being named Office of the Year in 2001, 2002 and 2004.
Dawood attended Albion College in Albion, Mich. He is married and has a 4-year-old daughter. In his spare time he enjoys watching and playing sports, music and spending quality time with his family at their lake house. He makes his home in Eagan, Minn.
