Familiar with Family Share Max?
Family Share Max was designed to help families pool their annual dental maximums. Studies have shown that generally one family member needs more dental care than others. With Family Share Max, family members covered by the plan can pool their maximum dollars and use them for the person that needs them most. This “pooling” decrease out of pocket costs and maximizes benefit dollars. And isn’t now the time when we are all trying to save money anyway we can?

How it helped a claimant
One member2 had family coverage with a shared maximum of $3,000. She needed extensive work done, but her children only needed cleanings and routine services. They were on a calendar year plan and it was around June when Mom needed the dental work done. With Family Share Max she could use the “pooled” amount from her children’s maximums, and get the work done. This helped the family save out of pocket costs, and Mom was able to get the dental work done without delay!

She said she’s never had dental benefits like these or a company that really had the health of their customers in mind. She even told us that the dental office was skeptical we would use the pooled amount towards her services! But once we did pay, the dental office told her she was blessed to have such a plan, and she should never let it go.
