Assurant Employee Benefits Responds to Central U.S. Flood Victims

At Assurant Employee Benefits our thoughts and concern go out to our fellow Midwesterners who have experienced loss and devastation resulting from flooding in the Central United States.

We are committed to assisting our affected policyholders, insureds and brokers through this challenging time. A primary goal of our business has always been to help our insureds and their employers return to normalcy in the face of loss and difficulties. That will remain our goal as we work with flood victims.

In addition to our support of the American Red Cross Central U.S. Flood & Tornado relief fund, we have implemented the following actions to assist our customers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri.

Extended grace periods for payment of premiums in accordance with state guidelines.
Extension of other policy time limits as needed to address circumstances of specific policyholders.
